GSL has a website named as “www.goashipyard.in”. Through this website GSL interacts and disseminates various information to the public about the company, product profile, Board members, e-Tender, Procurement policy, vacancies, important events, external hyperlinks, etc.

As the website is specific to GSL and extensively used by Customers and Public at large it shall comply with all the guidelines issued by the Government of India for maintenance of Website, protected from copyright, privacy of user details, its contents are accurate and uploaded/ removed/ archived with the necessary approval.

In the above background a detailed website policy meeting GIGW requirements, encompassing sub policies like Copyright Privacy, Hyperlink, Content approval, offloading, removal and archiving, Website Security, etc. has been formulated as detailed below in the foregoing paragraphs based on the Guidelines issued by Government of India.

The content of the website is owned and operated by Goa Shipyard Limited and may not be reproduced partially or fully without due permission from Goa Shipyard Limited. We respect intellectual property rights and are committed to fulfilling our moral and legal obligations with respect to use of copyright-protected works. The contents of this website cannot be used in any misleading or objectionable context. By using this website, the users agree that they will not use any devices, software or automated programs such as spiders, crawlers or robots to re-publish any of its content or information. We do not collect personal information for any purposes other than for response to the users’ queries. Here is the expanded version of the Content Contribution, Moderation & Approval Policy presented as a continuous piece of text without headings: All content on the GSL website must be contributed by the respective departments in a consistent and timely manner to ensure uniformity, accuracy, and relevance. Each department is responsible for providing updated information related to its functions and operations. A designated Content Owner from each department will be accountable for preparing and submitting the content. The System Administrator will grant content modification authority to designated personnel, who shall have the sole responsibility for implementing any requested amendments. This ensures the consistency and currency of all published information, as well as proper coordination with the content originator.

Before submission, the contributing department must verify all content for accuracy, authenticity, and completeness. It is the responsibility of the respective department to ensure that the content is factually correct and aligns with current policies, procedures, and data. Submitted content should be clear, concise, and free of errors in language and formatting.

After submission, all content must undergo a moderation process to check for consistency with GSL's content standards, adherence to legal and regulatory requirements, and compliance with formatting and publishing guidelines. The Content Moderator will review the material and suggest changes if needed. Only after moderation and final approval by the designated authority or Department Head will the content be published on the GSL website.

The Web Administrator, the assigned personnel and original content-providers are responsible for periodically reviewing the content of this website in their respective working domains and keep the information updated at all times. Content Archival Mechanism is to ensure that all outdated announcements are removed from the website or moved to archive. The Archival System available on the website will transfer the expired content to archives section as soon as it reaches expiry date. Data Corruption:
A robust mechanism has been established by the relevant parties in collaboration with the web hosting service provider to ensure that regular and appropriate backups of the website data are performed. Natural Disasters:
